An NYC Cop Made People's Day By Serenading Them With A Tune From The Greatest Boy Band Of All Time
Should this cop maybe be out patrolling the streets of New York City, ensuring the safety of millions of people? Maybe. But you know what’s more important than catching criminals? Bringing happiness and joy to the average pedestrian. Any ol’ cop can just do their job, but it takes a really special person to blast “I Want It That Way” out of their patrol car and hit the high notes.
New Yorkers/tourists would never remember a cop arresting someone, but the officer in car 3760 will be remembered forever. For making them smile, putting a little extra pep in their step, and flashing them back to the good old days when boy bands ruled the streets and the most contentious argument you could get in was who’s better: BSB or NSYNC?
A debate I always thought was silly because, let’s be honest, The Backstreet Boys were far superior. They were a band, not a group that was carried by one person. Is Justin Timberlake more talented as an individual than any member of BSB? Sure. But that’s not the argument. The argument is about the band as a whole and aside from having more hits than NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys are the best-selling boy band of all time. And that ends the argument. Just like Tom Brady is the GOAT because he’s the winningest quarterback of all-time and he has more rings than any other QB, BSB is the better boy band because they are the best-selling.
So thank you to New York’s Finest for bringing Backstreet Back.
