Concert Venue Pulls The Plug On The Foo Fighters Because Of A 10 PM Curfew - They Say Fuck It And Keep Playing

Loudwire – The Bottle Rock Festival in Napa Valley has a strict 10PM curfew and apparently that went into effect perfectly at one of the breakdowns toward the end of the song. As you can see in the fan-shot footage above, Dave Grohl and his band are rocking along just fine at full volume and powering toward the breakdown in the song when at the 5:33 mark in the video above, the plug gets pulled.

Undeterred, Foo Fighters continued to play and the audience was quick to pick up on what had happened. Even with the plug pulled, you can still hear the band playing faintly in the background, enough for the audience to join in singing and clapping along on cue to finish out the song.

Hate the “this is REAL music” crowd most of the time, right up there with beer and alcohol snobs who are always superior to you and looking down on what you enjoy.  Listen to what you like, drink what you like, who gives a fuck.  But I’ll tell you this.  You pull the plug on Avicii you ain’t getting an electric live show anymore.  You pull the plug on a lip synching pop star and it’s curtains for the whole arena.   Foo Fighters have their power shut down and just keep going with the audience joining in to finish out the songs.
